The book I would most highly recommend to a friend is Wings of Fire the dragonets prophecy because it's the best of the whole series with the most action and drama.

The Study of Mummies
My group's scientist is an archaeologist. This scientist could investigate where a mummy comes from in the world. A question an archeologist would ask is: Where in the world did the mummy come from? This would help an archeologist understand what its culture may have been, how the mummy may have lived, what it wore, and what it ate.
To know where a mummy was found, scientists take good notes about where a mummy is found in the field. If you don't know where a mummy was found, you could also look at how the mummy was made because different mummies are made in different ways in different areas. Archaeologists use grids to divide the study area to describe where remains are found. Archaeologists can also use computers and 3-D imaging to model the mummy and see how it was made. For example, in the Nova video, The Emperor's Ghost Army, scientists used 3-D images to remodel missing pieces of artifacts.
Archaeologists are sometimes challenged when they find new evidence that has never before been discovered. To investigate the new evidence they would look at all of the artifacts found in the environment to help understand the new culture. They could also look for similar artifacts in the surrounding area because the groups may have been similar.
Archeologist may never know for sure where a mummy comes from because there could always be new evidence that adds new understanding. For example, we could learn that mummies were moved over time. Or, technology in the future might help us better understand human history.

Irish Limerick
I was running through the hills
I was running there all night
I was running through the hills
To catch my ship tonight
I was searching for my true lover
It’s a search I will not cease
I will search all the water
And the Seven Seas
Though the wind was icy frigid
But it shall not yield me
I shall find my true lover
And I will succeed
And the wind will push me away
To my true lover today
Special thanks to Nick and Brian for their collaboration on this project.

Mia's Unexpected Diary (REALISTIC FICTION)
DAY
1
Hi
diary today the teacher told us that we were going to have a contest of who
could write the best book with pictures about history. I am so happy about that
because history is a little bit of my specialty. And as usual that brat of the
class thinks she can win. Well we only have three days so I should get along.
DAY
2
Hi
diary today I saw the brat having trouble on her report. She had it coming. Ha.
OK so that was kinda mean but common. Well OK I'm gonna go help her. About half
an hour later. OK so I helped her maybe she's not that bad. Well have to get
going.
DAY
3
Oh my gosh! 2 things that brat
won because of me and said she did it all even though I helped her through the
whole thing! And 2nd she gave me the award after school because I helped her. She
was actually nice to me! So unexpected.
Tustin Labyrinth
4/19/16
This is one of my favorite places to visit. My favorite spot in the garden is the waterfall. I also like walking around the labyrinth. I first went to the Tustin Labyrinth with my Aunt Kim. This time, it was fun to show my mom my favorite spots.

Life and Death (MYTH)
Long ago, when animals were new,
Life and Death watched the land. “Life, I think everything should die at an
age,” Death said. “No!” Life exclaimed. “The animals will be miserable if they
die,” Life said.
As the years went by, the animals
started moving and migrating until only 2 were left. A deer and a fox. “Fox,”
said Deer, “who is more superior, me or you?” “Well, me, of course, with my
brain and speed, I am superior,” Fox proudly said. “No, it would be me with my
tallness and strength,” Deer exclaimed.
For many years Deer and Fox
fought about that disagreement until one day Deer stabbed Fox with his horns
claiming superiority but Fox did not die because of Life’s decision. Fox lived
in misery and sadness. Life felt bad for Fox and agreed to have death for all living
things. Fox died but he was happy that he was put out of his misery.
