The terra cotta horses are clay horses. The horses are small with short legs and a large chest. I was interested by  this  artwork because they had a different pose and shape. The impressive work for such a long time ago is asstonishing. The clay horses were made for the first chinese emperor's tomb.
Yue-ware spirit jars were used  as storage vessels for chinese tombs. There were 4 small jars surrounding one large jar. The jars looked like small houses. The birds and rats showed that the people of the under world still celebrated life on earth. They  believe that the jars were used for holding the spirit of the person the tomb belongs to.
The chess set that i was interested in. All the pawns were made with a different design on each one. I chose the chess game because it showed beautiful design and detail. The ancient artwork of china is mouth gaping.
